October 23rd is National TV Talk Show Host Day, and Johnny Carson was one of the best! His comedy skills always shone through, starting with his opening monologue every night. He was better than many of the stand-up comedians who appeared on his show!
Johnny Carson also did great interviews, and loved to have animals on his show. Some of his most memorable moments are his interactions with the wild animals that Jim Fowler brought in.
