Sure, everybody talks about the Dog Days of Summer, but every day is a Dog Day, here at Dog Leash Comedy! And so, to brighten this November day, here are a few photos of my pup. You can call him Mr. Irresistible – or Mr. I, for short.
Trick or Treat
Halloween was over a week ago, but I forgot to show you Mr. I in his Cookie Monster costume.
He knows a few tricks, like “Shake a Paw”.
And, of course, he’s always looking for a doggie treat, so Halloween is the perfect holiday for him.
Shake a Paw
Even though Mr. I knows how to shake a paw, he’s a bit reluctant to do that now, due to the pandemic.
In this photo, you can almost hear him asking me to grab him a couple of disinfectant wipes!
He’s not going to fetch filthy balls from questionable strangers either! Who are these masked people?
Nice try, lady, but no thanks.
Ready for His Close Up
With a face like this, Mr. I should have a career in films, right?
Fortunately, he found a rehearsal partner, and has been practising lines for a starring role in Romeo and Juliet. The balcony scene is his favourite, and we’ll work on the “Play Dead” scenes later. The Romeo role was obviously written with Mr. Irresistible in mind.
But if the Shakespeare thing doesn’t work out, he’s ready for the casting call, if they do a new version of Baywatch.
As you can see, he’s an experienced lifeguard, and ready to rescue anyone who needs help. Well, as soon as he remembers to face the water, instead of the camera.
I just hope Mr. Irresistible remembers us when he’s rich and famous!
And I hope these pup photos brightened your November day!
