Peter Ustinov Actor Comedian – Comedy Legend
It’s the wrong time of year to think about Christmas, but which holiday movies did you watch when growing up? Did your family love White Christmas, or It’s a Wonderful Life or The Christmas Story? We watched those too, but my Dad’s favourite Christmas movie is about escaped prisoners on Devil’s Island! The movie is called We’re No Angels, and stars Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray and Peter Ustinov. Here’s my tribute to Peter Ustinov – actor, comedian, comedy legend.

Aim to Be On Time
I hope people understand that when I say I’m aiming to be somewhere at a certain time, it’s like Shaq aiming for a free throw.
I want it to happen, but statistically we’re looking at about 53%.
Good teams will adjust their strategy accordingly. Continue reading “Aim to Be On Time”

National Spaghetti Day 2019
Nothing beats a big bowl of tasty spaghetti, especially on a cold winter night.
January 4th is National Spaghetti Day, and I just have one quick question, before I dive into my supper.
Is it safe to eat spaghetti “pasta” expiry date? Sorry, was that question too saucy?

Improv Classes for Kids
To all parents — Please consider putting your child in an improv class during the March break, or any time that improv classes for kids are available. My daughter went for a week-long class last summer, and she loved it. Seeing her on stage, fearlessly living in the moment, and having a blast, was heartwarming and inspiring. Small Cost Big Fun Christmas Improv
As you probably know, I love improv, and so does my daughter. She even ran the warm up one night, at our local improv class – for a group of adults. They had lots of fun, and gave her excellent review! So let’s try some Christmas improv – it’s a perfect “small cost big fun” Christmas activity, for all ages.
Small Cost Big Fun Christmas Giving
No matter how small our Christmas budget is, every year we give what we can to help other people. When you focus on giving, instead of getting things, you end up a lot happier!
Small Cost Big Fun Christmas Books
Here’s another thing that my 8-year-old daughter and I can do for our small cost big fun Christmas. We both love to read, so we’ll find a few Christmas books to read together. Maybe we can find a Christmas book for kids that has a comedy theme, or some kid-appropriate jokes in it.
Small Cost Big Fun Christmas 01
Some comedians make good money, but most of us do it for the laughs, not the big bucks. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take the big bucks, if anyone offered them! Anyway, no offers so far, but who knows what 2019 might bring? For this year though, the budget is tight, so my daughter and I are planning to have a small cost, big fun, Christmas. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
