Today, October 29th, is National Cat Day – not to be confused with National Black Cat Day, which was October 27th. I hope you didn’t walk under any ladders that day!

We’ll get to the cat comedy in a minute, but I wanted to let you know that it’s also National Oatmeal Day and National Hermit Day. There’s a joke in there somewhere, and I’ll leave it for you to write one.
National Cat Day Comedy Clip
As promised, here is the National Cat Day comedy. In this video, you’ll see Zoltan Kaszas explain why cats are better than dogs. He doesn’t like all that dog energy in his house, always wanting to do somthing with you. Cat’s on the other hand, don’t care what you’re doing.
Zoltan thinks that cats are perfect if you “don’t need a best friend at the house…just an apathetic roommate.” Yeah, I kinda understand that, now that he mentions it.
You’ll learn about the 22-pound cat named Jessica that lives with Zoltan and his wife. Jessica is on the heavy side, but she certainly doesn’t like diet cat food. However, Jessica does enjoy lying on a pile of clean laundry.
And don’t call her in an emergency situation — Jessica is no help at all, if you’re sinking into the “quicksand” of a memory foam mattress topper.
