It’s October 31st, and of course we’re celebrating Halloween today. And did you know that it’s also National Knock-Knock Jokes Day? Yes, knock-knock jokes are terrible, and that’s why we love them, here at Dog Leash Comedy! Let’s see if we can combine these two awesome events, into one glorious occasion.

Children’s Joke Telling Contest
Too bad they didn’t have a children’s joke telling contest when I was young – that would have been a great way to start a comedy career!
Here are the contestants in the Children’s Joke Telling Contest at the Iowa State Fair, in 2012. Most of the jokes are groaners, and you’ve probably heard most (or all) of them before.
Still, it’s fun to watch the kids, and see how proud they are of those jokes. The crowd is very supportive – just what you want for any comedy event!
